The NMHU Cowboys fell in their final game of the 2010 season to the Skyhawks of fort Lewis College on 11/13 by a final score of 36-13. The Cowboys played tough for the first half as the halftime score was 9-6, but second half turnovers and miscues would spell doom for the Cowboys. The Skyhawks would score 27 unanswered points in the second half to run away with the win.
Offensively, the Cowboys would finish the day with 246 total yards (139 rushing and 107 passing).
Mychal Leaupepe would finish the day with 68 yards rushing on 16 carries and one touchdown.
Defensively, the Cowboys would allow 478 total yards by the Skyhawks (227 rushing and 251 passing). High tackler for the Cowboys was
Tony Udley. Udley finished the day with 11 total tackles and one pass break-up.
The Cowboys close out the 2010 season with a 1-10 overall record and a 1-8 record in RMAC play.
