The 2010 NMHU Cowboys are set to take the field in their 2010 home opener as they take on the Mustangs of Midwestern State University on 9/2 at 7:00 pm in Perkins Stadium. The Cowboys look to avenge the 41-0 loss they experienced at the hands of the Mustangs in their 2009 opener. The Cowboys have made some addition since then and look to turn some heads in their 2010 opener. The Mustangs will be a worthy opponent as they come into the Las Vegas with a preseason ranking of 17th in the nation according to the latest AFCA poll.
“We are ready for this one. Last season we were outmatched, but I'm positive with our additions to our roster and more importantly our staff we will be able to stand toe-to-toe with MSU,” says NMHU Head Coach Chad Roanhaus of his outlook for Thursday night's game.
The Cowboys have made it through preseason camp unscathed and healthy. They have put in their time on the field and in the film room. They have done all the little things right thus far in the young 2010 season. Come on out on 9/2 at 7:00pm to catch the first glimpse of your 2010 Cowboys when they take on the Mustangs from MSU.
