It Takes a Team Effort
When you start five guards as the Cowgirls have needed to do in the first two games, getting outrebounded is not quite unusual. However, Highlands has been holding their own, having only been outrebounded by 12. Four different Cowgirls average three or more rebounds per game: Junior
Brittany Brown leads the team with 4.5 rebounds per game while sophomore
Jacinda Woodruff and senior
Anngelina Sanchez both have 3.5 rebounds per game. Senior
Jenny Johnson chips in three rebounds per game.
