Bostic for the win

Box Score LAKEWOOD, Colo. - New Mexico Highlands Women's Soccer team kicked off earlier this morning at 10 a.m. in Lakewood Colorado against Colorado Christian University.  The Cowgirls pulled away with a 1-0 win over Colorado Christian. This advances your Cowgirls to an overall record of 5-4-1, RMAC 4-1-1.

It was a tough first half for your Cowgirls; they only got five shot attempts in Colorado Christian eight shot attempts on goal. 

Then in the second half, Freshman Larissa Romero crossed it to sophomore Mallory Bostic for the header who snuck it past the keeper. This gave Bostic her fifth goal of the year and four goals in the last two games. 

With only three minutes left in the second half, Colorado Christian tried to come back with a shot by Sophomore Quinn Anderson but ends up going off the crossbar.

Your Cowgirls will continue play on Sunday October 4 against #16 Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado at noon. Live stats will be avaiable.
