Cowboys to take on Eagles

CHADRON, Neb. – The New Mexico Highlands Football Team (0-8, 0-6 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference) travels north to face Chadron State College (4-4, 3-3 RMAC).

The Cowboys look to bounce back after seeing their win slip out of their hands as Adams State scored in the last minute of the game to win the game 17-13. Despite the loss, the Cowboys managed to take control for most of the game, as they possessed the ball 10 minutes more than the Grizzlies. Trevor Swenson and Davonte Lynch were a major reason for this as Swenson threw for 215 yards and a TD, and Lynch rushed for 139 yards.

Scouting Chadron State College

The Eagles strengths are that they are good rushing team averaging 223.5 yards per game and they are good against the pass as they are top three in the conference.

An issue for the Eagles has been that they have struggled at home, as they are 1-2 at home while they are 3-2 away.

The Cowboys play at 12 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 31 at Chadron State College. Live stats and video will be avaiable.
