Box Score Goodwell , Okla.- New Mexico Highlands University Women's Basketball team brings home both wins this weekend in the Heartland vs. Rocky Mountain tournament. In tonight's game your cowgirls beat Oklahoma Panhandle State University 63-51.

st Quarter
The Aggies right away hit two three's within the first couple of minutes. Then Junior
Giulia Simioni knocked one from behind the arc to get your Cowgirls on the board. The Aggies continued to get to the basket and had a 24-13 lead at the end of the first quarter.

nd Quarter
In the first three minutes the Cowgirls struggle to put the ball in the basket as the Aggies took the lead to 30-13. With 5:45 left in the 2
nd quarter, sophomore
Mallory Bostic found Junior
Michelle Traynham the ball as Traynham hit a three to get your cowgirls going. In the next play, Bostic drove to the basket to get herself on the free throw line and sank both of from the charity stripe. Following her, Traynham sank two more free throws to cut the Aggies lead to ten 30-20. The Cowgirls continued to battle back and found themselves only down by 4 at half time 34-30.

rd Quarter
The Cowgirls were ready to go in the 3
rd quarter, as Sophomore
Kylee Reibel found herself in the paint for two. Reibel also earned a herself to the free throw to cut the Aggies lead down to one. Traynham attacked the basket and helped the Cowgirls tie the game at 34. Traynham and Reibel continued to get to the free throw line and at the end of the 3
rd quarter the Cowgirls had the lead 48-40.
4
th quarter
The Cowgirls kept the lead in the game this whole quarter. Junior
Michelle Tapia continued to get boards and finish in the paint. Well
Michelle Traynham continued to hit shoots from behind the arc. Your Cowgirls started to out play the Aggies to seal this game shut. The Cowgirls ended the game with another win, 63-51. Tapia ended the game with a career high of 16 rebounds and 10 points earning her first double-double of the season.
