Stefania Sideri hits a jumper to bring them within four, 10-6. The Greyhounds continued to shoot well from behind the arc and knock down free throws. Eastern went into the 2

The Greyhounds came out ready to shoot within twenty seconds when Brittany Gutierrez hits a jumper. The Cowgirls took a little bit, but junior
Giulia Simioni drove to the hole, drew the foul, and made the basket for an old fashion three points. With 2:44 left, the Greyhounds had their biggest lead of the night off of a jumper by Kassandra Harris which made it 37-14. Junior
Michelle Traynham then went to work with stacking up 10 points in two minutes, cutting the lead down to 17. At the half the Cowgirls were down 43-26 to the Greyhounds.

Your Cowgirls were ready as Simioni got herself to the free throw line, knocking down both. With 4:50 left, Simioni helped her team with 9 points to get the Cowgirls within ten 50-40. Traynham also helped her team with knocking down two free throws and a triple to get the Cowgirls closer 51-47. The Greyhounds battled back and went into the 4
th with a lead by eight. 58-50

Within the first minute, freshman
Brianna Pribble hit a shot from behind the arc to cut the Cowgirls deficate to 6. The Greyhounds' Johna Mcclelland went to work in the paint knocking down shots with some nice post moves in the paint bringing them up by nine. With 7:47 left, Simioni hit another triple to get the Greyhounds lead down to four. Your Cowgirls battled to the end but the Greyhounds were just finishing and took the win tonight by 11
