1st half Cowgirls kept a strong defense, and kept possession of the ball majority of the time. There 8 shots total from the Cowgirls and 5 of them were on target. 7 of the 8 were from #11 Mallory Bostic. Adams State only managed 6 shots the first period, and only half were on target. But neither team was able to get on the board.
The Grizzlies managed to get 5 shots the 2nd half, all on target. Cowgirls got 6 shots in; 4 on target. Both teams were still unable to score any goals.
1st overtime Cowgirls had 6 shots unfortunately no goals were scored. Grizzlies were unable to get any shots in for the first overtime.
2nd overtime Cowgirls only got one shot in, while Grizzlies managed 5. Even though there were a few close calls, neither team was able to score.
