Box Score LAS VEGAS, NM- The Rams of Angelo St. and your Cowgirls played a competitive match on Sunday. After a defensive first half that had just 7 shots between the two teams, we headed into the locker room tied at 0-0.
In the second half, both teams kicked it up a notch and the game got more physical. There were 10 shots taken from the Cowgirls; but they were unable to get on the board. Cowgirls' goalkeeper Apolonia Thomas had 5 saves in the game, but still allowed the only goal from ASU's Sierra Anderson. The game was hard fought by both teams, but the Rams were able to pull out a 1-0 victory.
The Cowgirls fall to 1-1-0 for the season. They will take on Western Oregon in Pueblo, Colo. on Tuesday. Live stats will be available. Â
