The Cowgirls will be heading to Colorado this weekend to take on the Western State Colorado University Mountaineers on October 28
th at 3:00 p.m. Then on October 30
th at 1:00 p.m. they will take on the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs Mountain Lions. Your Cowgirls will head to Colorado with a 3-10-1 overall record, and a 3-7 RMAC record.

New Mexico Highlands Cowgirls: The Cowgirls had a great weekend, beating Westminster College-Utah by a score of 2-1, and narrowly losing to Colorado Mesa in extra time. Senior
Danielle Acuna played well as she got herself a goal against Westminster. Freshman goalkeeper
Katherine Scott racked up 13 total saves over the weekend. Senior
Samantha Mendez played great this weekend, on way to being named the Subway Athlete of the Week. Mendez scored 2 goals throughout the weekend and looks to continue this into next weekend.

Western State Colorado Mountaineers: The Mountaineers await the Cowgirls with a 5-8-2 overall record, and a 3-6-1 RMAC record. Freshman Andrea Grillo and Junior Jessica Kresl lead their team with 3 goals each for the season. Redshirt Junior goalie Katie Simpson-Johnson has collected 86 saves on the season.

University of Colorado-Colorado Springs Mountain Lions: The Mountain Lions will welcome the Cowgirls to Colorado Springs with a 2-11-1 overall record, and a 2-7-1 RMAC record. A major contributor to the Mountain Lions will be Senior Michaela Mansfield who has found the back of the net 10 times this season. She is the leading scorer by far for her team. Second in goals is Junior Bailee Jameson who has knocked in 3 of her own. Junior goalie Grace Ramsden has gathered 72 saves on the year.
