Cowgirls Take on Mountaineers and Mavericks At Home This Weekend

The New Mexico Highlands University Women's Basketball team will took on Western State Colorado University Mountaineers on December 16th at 5:00 p.m. and the Colorado Mesa University Mavericks on December 17th at 5:00 p.m. Your Cowgirls hold a 2-5 overall record and a 1-3 RMAC record.
 
New Mexico Highlands University Cowgirls: The Cowgirls will look to Sophomore Kaylani Maiava to help rebound from their latest loss. Maiava is the leading scorer for the Cowgirls as she averages 13.9 points per game. She is also the Cowgirls leading rebounder as she brings down 6 per game. Sophomore Brianna Pribble brings the 3 point dynamic to the game as she leads the team with 14 made three's on the season. Freshmen Ari Baca leads the team with a .531 field goal percentage.
 
Western State Colorado University Mountaineers: The Mountaineers come in Las Vegas with a 2-6 overall record. Harlie Williams plays a big role with the Mountaineers as she is the leading scorer and rebounder. She is averaging 9.1 points  and 5.5 rebounds per game. Brianna Wilber is the second leading scorer on her team as she pitches in 7.3 points per game.
 
Colorado Mesa University Mavericks: Bryanna Adams is a huge contributor to the Mavericks 7-1 overall record. She pours in 15.1 points per game. She is also the team's leading rebounder, pulling down 6.1 rebounds per game. Ma'ata Epenisa is also vital to the Mavericks success as she scores 10.6 points per game, and leads the team with 7 blocks on the season.
