Box Score LAKEWOOD, Colo.- The Cowgirls struggled against the Cougars of Colorado Christian tonight. The Cougars would go one to win their senior day game by a score of 75-41.

The game started of well for the Cowgirls as they were on the board first on a lay-up by
Kaylani Maiava. The Cougars then went on a 11-0 run over six minutes to give them the 11-2 lead.
Brianna Pribble would hit a three to end the run. After a Cougar jumper Pribble would hit another three to bring the game within five, 13-8. At the end of the first quarter the Cougars were up 16-10 over the Cowgirls.

The Cowgirls would struggle in the second quarter. Maiava knocked down two shots about a minute apart from each other in what would be four of the Cowgirls six points in the second quarter. The Cowgirls' other two points would come from
Kristy Marquez at the 2:26 mark. The Cougars outscore the Cowgirls by a score of 19-6 in the second quarter. At the half the Cougars led 35-16

The third quarter would be rough for the Cowgirls as well.
Kylee Reibel score the Cowgirls' first points in the second half on two free throws at the 6:57 mark.
Jacinda Woodruff would hit a three with 3:59 on the clock to make it a 30-point game, 51-31. A lay-up from Pribble would hit a lay-up to finish the Cowgirls' scoring in the third quarter. After three the Cougars lead the Cowgirls 60-23.

With just 10 minutes left the Cowgirls had their best quarter of the game. As they would actually win the fourth quarter by a score of 18-15. Unfortunately, it was not enough as the Cougars of Colorado Christian would win the game 75-41.

 The Cowgirls return to action next weekend at home against Fort Lewis and Adams St. The team will be celebrating senior day on Saturday against Adams St.Â
