Las Vegas, NM ---The New Mexico Highlands women's soccer team finished their last weekend of the season where they fell to Adams State on Friday and Fort Lewis on Sunday.

AGAINST ADAMS STATE: The Grizzlies only goal in the first half was scored in the 44
th minute before they scored three more in the second half and won 4-0.
The Cowgirls managed 7 shots with 3 of them being on goal.
Victoria Mares led the way for the Cowgirls as she attempted two shots with one of them being on goal.
Cheyenne Delgado (1 shot on goal),
Alexandra Rodriguez (2 shots),
Nitza Rodriguez (1 shot on goal), and
Ariana Castillo (1 shot) also aid the Cowgirls attack. Keeper
Katherine Scott received the start in the first half where she faced 10 shots and recorded 5 saves and
Karina Vega started in the second half where she faced 12 shots and tallied 5 saves.
AGAINST FORT LEWIS: Again the Cowgirls found themselves down by 1 goal at half time as the Skyhawks were able to score in the first 15 seconds of play. The Cowgirl defense would run out of juice in the second half as the Skyhawks managed 3 goals and would win the game 4-0.
The Cowgirls tallied 14 shots with 6 of them being on goal.
Ariana Castillo led the way for the Cowgirls as she took 4 shots with 2 of them being on goal.
Janis Martinez (3 shots, 1 on goal),
Nitza Rodriguez (3 shots, 1 on goal),
Autumn Stewart (1 shot on goal), and
Monique Nevarez (1 shot) would all aid the Cowgirls attack in their final game of the season. Keeper
Katherine Scott received the start as she faced 17 shots and recorded 9 saves.
