Las Vegas, NM --- The New Mexico Highlands Cowgirls will travel to Denver, CO where they will take on Colorado Christian University at 10 am on Friday and #9 Colorado School of Mines at 12 pm on Sunday.
ABOUT COLORADO CHRISTIAN: The Cougars are 3-3 on the season and are 1-1 in RMAC play. The Cougars have scored 9 goals on the season and have also allowed 9. Brook-lyn Schultz, Sarah Feller, and Amanda Lopez all lead the team in goals this season with 2 each. Ireland VanDyke (4 saves, 5 goals allowed) and Ashleigh Maguire (14 saves, 4 goals allowed) will look to keep the goal clean for the Cougars.
ABOUT SCHOOL OF MINES: The Orediggers are currently ranked #9 in the nation and are 6-1 on the season and 2-0 in RMAC play. The only loss for the Orediggers came from Angelo State. The Orediggers have scored 20 goals this season and have held their opponents to only 4 goals. Nicole LaTourette (4 goals, 1 assist), Hannah Rowen (3 goals, 1 assist), Emi Higgins (3 goals), and Jordan Barnhart (2 goals, 3 assists) will look to lead the Orediggers on offense. Goallkeeper for the Orediggers is Shannon Mooney and she has allowed 4 goals on 26 saves in 592 minutes.
ABOUT THE COWGIRLS: The Cowgirls come will start the weekend 0-4 on the season and 0-2 in RMAC play. The Cowgirls have scored 3 goals on the season.
