LAS VEGAS, N.M. ---Â The New Mexico Highlands women's soccer team wraps ups its season and will honor its seniors 2 p.m. Wednesday when they host Adams State at Old Memorial Middle School.
COWGIRLS HEADING INTO THIS WEEKÂ |Â 2021Â SEASON STATS
NMHUÂ dropped a pair of contests last week, losing to a pair of teams receiving votes in the national 25 polls in Colorado Mesa (1-0 in overtime on Friday) and Westminster (3-0 on Sunday).
On the season,
Valeria Baca and
Nitza Rodriguez leads the team with four goals on the season.
Kiarra Hovis has a team-best two assists on the season.
Katie Scott has started the last four games for NMHUÂ - having a goals against average of 2.00 this past weekend -Â while
Karina Vega had started eight games on the season and owns a 4.37 GAA and a 0.551 save percentage.

The Grizzlies also dropped contests to Westminster (1-0) and Colorado Mesa (2-1) last weekend to extend their losing streak to five overall.
Carena Harrison leads the team with seven points thanks to three goals and an assist. Kylie Chavez is the only other player with multiple goals for ASU with two while Justine Cardwell has a team-best two assists.
Ashley Beers has played all but 55 minutes at goalkeeper this season for the Grizzlies and owns a 2.43 GAA and a 0.712 save percentage.
