LAS VEGAS, N.M. --- The New Mexico Highlands women's basketball team hits the road to take on Northern New Mexico on Tuesday at Eagle Memorial Sportsplex.

COWGIRLS HEADING INTO THE WEEK | 2021-22 STATISTICS
The Cowgirls are coming off a 67-53 loss at Texas A&M International on Saturday in a game where NMHU rallied from a 16-point, first-half deficit to take the lead early in the fourth quarter before the Dustdevils came back to win. Jordyn Lewis led the team with 21 points.

Lewis leads the team in scoring at 15.0 points per game followed by Aja Scott (11.5) and Maiah Rivas (10.5). Scott leads the team in rebounding (8.0) while Rivas is averaging 2.8 assists to pace the Cowgirls. Shania Johnaon is averaging 7.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and a team-best 2.3 steals per game.

NORTHERN NEW MEXICO HEADING INTO THE WEEK | 2021-22 STATISTICS
The Eagles' statistics haven't been updated since a Nov. 5 loss at home to Adams State, 68-51. NNMC was 3-2 up to that point with two wins over USW and one at Embry-Riddle to start the season before falling at Benedictine Mesa 89-41 and Adams State. Chris'alee Patterson leads the team in scoring at 12.0 points per game followed by Kristen Davis at 9.2 points per game.
