LAS VEGAS, N.M. --- The New Mexico Highlands women's basketball team hits the road to take on Black Hils State and Chadron State Saturday and Sunday, respectively, to continue RMAC action.

COWGIRLS HEADING INTO THE WEEK | 2021-22 STATISTICS
The Cowgirls are looking to bounce back after dropping a 76-42 contest at home to Regis last Saturday. Jordyn Lewis and Sana'a Baker led NMHU with 10 points apiece.

Lewis leads the team in scoringat 12.6 points per game to go alogn with 2.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.1 steals per game - playing 32.2 minutes per contest. Baker is second on teh team in scoring at 10.1 points per game while averaging 4.8 rebuonds and 1.1 blocks. Maiah Rivas is averaging 7.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.0 assist per game.

BLACK HILLS STATE HEADING INTO THE WEEK  | 2021-22 STATISTICS
The Yellow Jackets dropped a pair of games last weekend on the road, losing at Colorado Mesa 77-71 in overtime on Friday with Haylee Weathersby leading the way with 17 points before falling at Westminster 85-49 on Saturday with Kammie Ragsdale scoring a team-best nine points.

Megan Engesser leads the team with 9.4 points to go along with 4.1 rebounds per game while Danica Kocer is averaging 9.0 points, 1.7 assists and 1.5 steals per game as no other player is averaging more than 6.5 points per contest.

As a team, the Rangers are averaging 65.3 points per game (fifth in the RMAC) while allowing 63.6 (sixth in the conference).

CHADRON STATE HEADING INTO THE WEEK  | 2021-22 STATISTICS
The Eagles also dropped to 2-2 in RMAC play like Black Hills State after falling at Westminster 77-59 on Friday (Samiyah Worrell with a team-best 21 points) and Colorado Mesa 76-52 on Saturday (Jori Peters with a CSC-high 11 points).

Ashayla Powers leads the team in scoring at 13.3 points per game to go along with 6.4 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game while Worrell is at 10.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.9 assist per cotnest. Peters is third on the team in scoring at 7.7 points, 3.6 rebounds adn 2.9 assists per game.
