LAS VEGAS, N.M. --- The New Mexico Highlands women's basketball team lost to MSU Denver 75-56 on Saturday night at Wilson Complex.
The Cowgirls (4-12, 1-9) kept it close at the half, trailing 33-26, before being outscored 42-30 in the second half by the Roadrunners (12-4, 8-3).
Awreona Ransom was the lone NMHU player in double figures with 15 points.
Sana'a Baker added eight points while
Shania Johnson had seven points and four rebounds.
The Cowgirls return to action Tuesday at home against UCCS.
