Cowboys Fall in Shootout Season Finale

Grand Junction, Colorado - The Cowboys fall on the road in the season finale against Colorado Mesa on the road. 
 

1:00pm — The Cowboys and Mavericks were separated by only a score at half when the Mavericks scored in the final moments of the 2nd Quarter retaking the lead from the Cowboys. The Cowboys were never able to recapture the lead as a slow start to the second half proved to be the difference in the game.

Combined passing yards — Gage Guardiola and Gavin Herberg combined for 666 yards passing and 7 touchdowns without throwing an interception. It was a classic RMAC shootout that showed the capabilities of both these teams and the promise of Guardiola as the Cowboys head into the offseason.
