Espanola, NM – The Cowgirls visit the Eagles of Northern New Mexico Monday night and hope to extend their season record to 3-0 after an impressive start at home against two Lonestar opponents in the South Central Region Crossover.

Niles and Niles to go — Rachael Niles has assumed the point guard roll with injured starter Maiah Rivas sidelined for the season. Niles alongside freshman Juliana Aragon lead the team this weekend with on the court leadership and an inside out approach that lead to a lot of open offensive opportunities for the Cowgirls.

Big. Big Time –
The forward combinations of Espinoza, Scott, and Mungia made defense look fun in the two games this week. The trio helped the Cowgirls sweep the tournament and have provided a proud last line of defense for Head Coach Garrett Sherman.
