Cowgirls Fall Short Despite Efforts From Parker and Scott.

Las Vegas, NM-- Cowgirls fal short.
12.31.22 at John Wilson---

The Cowgirls lost their second conference game of the weekend to Colorado Mesa despite great efforts from Kendall Parker and Aja Scott. Colorado Mesa had made it clear from the start that they refused to let Juliana Aragon be effective. Kylie Kravig of Mesa was playing a game of cat and mouse by blanketing Aragon for majority of the night. This meant other players on the team had to step up in which they did. Kendall Parker and Aja Scott were aggressive on both the boards and on the offensive end. Scott and Parker both brought in five rebounds and were the only two players to hit from deep with a pair each. Aragon with three blocks, still allowed her presence to be felt defensively as did the Cowgirls with five different players recording blocks. All these efforts were ultimately cut short due to the high rate of three pointers the Mavericks attempted coupled with a 17-6 advantage on the offensive boards.

2023 Start--
Checkout the Cowgirls near the end of this week as they have another conference matchup against Metropolitan State on Friday Jan 6.
