Cowboy Roundup
Preseason Prediction: 8th in the RMAC

2022 Record: 0-1 (0-0 CONF)
The Cowboys lost starting QB Ezekiel Payne in the opening game of the season. Backup QB, Michael Jackson, stepped in and lead the Cowboys on multiple scoring drives and showed that the Cowboys are a team that can move the ball and when all things are clicking are capable of playing with anyone. Payne is expected to be available for the game Saturday night. If the Cowboys are able to protect the ball they will be in a position to secure their first win of the season this Saturday afternoon.

Cowboys to watch
The offensive line
The Cowboys have a lot of youth on the O line and if they can gel quickly then the Cowboys will be able to run that quick no huddle shotgun offense that they know will move the ball and produce. Malakai Rango is a dangerous runner and can move the ball between the tackles or outside. Look for him to continue where he left off against ENMU.

Skyhawks on the road.
The Skyhawks have yet to play a game on the road this season. They lost at home to Arizona Christian 52-12 on Saturday September the 10th.
