Las Vegas, NM – Cowgirls lose a close one to wrap up the homecoming weekend against the Orediggers of Colorado School of Mines.
Sunday 09.18.22 at NMHU Soccer Complex
12:00 PM— The Cowgirls kept it close in the first half only giving up one goal. Colorado School of Mines immediately came out after halftime putting pressure on the Cowgirls defense, but the defense held strong until the 72' when the Orediggers notched another goal. Despite two goals by Colorado School of Mines goalkeeper Isabella Ortiz had three saves.
Road trip— The Cowgirls look to bounce back next week as they begin a three game road trip starting in Durango, Colorado against the Fort Lewis Skyhawks.
