Game Recap: Women's Soccer | | Fred Slow

Cowgirls host Lubbock at NMHU soccer complex

Las Vegas, NM – Cowgirls fall to the Chaps at home.

Friday 09.02.22 at NMHU Soccer Complex

1:00 PM — Cowgirls played a very competitive 80 minutes of Soccer with only a 10 minute run early in the first half that created a deficit that the home team couldn't overcome. Goalkeeper Isabell Ortiz played on top of her own head as she amassed 20 saves and was very good in goal outside of a couple rebound opportunites that Lubbock connected on.

3 for me — Mya Asprin saw her first action of the year after returning from a quad injury.

The next match up — The Cowgirls play at home against Eastern New Mexico on Sunday at 1PM.
