Cowboys fall to 1-1 in the RMAC

Cowboys mount comeback late

Rapid City, SD – The Cowboys fall on the road at South Dakota Mines
 
Saturday 09.24.22 at O'Harra Stadium

2:00pm — The Cowboys scored on multiple big plays and had the offense rolling but weren't able to stop Mines in South Dakota. 
 
           Returning QB Ezekiel Payne and Cameron High connected early on a 60 yard score that set the pace for a shootout that the Cowboys would end up losing on the road.

Shawntay Mills continues to show his nose for the endzone. On minimal touches Mills has 5 total scores this season.
 
RMAC Mix — The Cowboys are 1 and 1 and are meticulously working to improve all aspects of their game. The offense is rolling and the defense is already the signature of the program. The Cowboys look to improve their RMAC record to 2-1 next week at Adams State. 
 
 
Keep Runnin, Runnin, Runnin — 32 attempts for 197 on the ground. The Cowboys offensive line has gelled in the run game
