The Cowgirls Face Western Colorado in Home Bout

New Mexico Highlands (10-5)(3-5)
vs
Western Colorado (4-9)(3-5)
Friday, JAN. 13th | 5 P.M. | Las Vegas, NM | John A Wilson Complex

Las Vegas NM- Friday night will be a fun one in Las Vegas as the NMHU Cowgirls host conference opponent Western Colorado. Western is coming into this game having lost their past two matches. It is important to note that both games went down to the wire. NMHU is coming off a clutch victory on Tuesday evening vs CSU Pueblo. Juliana Aragon returned back to dominance in the scoring game and helped the Cowgirls reel in the victory. Look for Aragon to control the pace of the game offensively. Defensively the Cowgirls receive a contagious effort from Delani Harris that creates extra possessions for the team. The Cowgirls look to start where they left off on Tuesday and extend their winning streak to two. Tune in at 5 pm mountain time at John A Wilson Complex.

Players to watch:

Juliana Aragon- the Cowgirls are a better team when Juliana finds her shot as this opens up the offense for everyone.

Krystina Hagood: Hagood is very aggressive on the boards, defense, and offense. An all-around two-way player that finds ways to be effective even when her shot is not falling.
