Cowgirls Take Loss to Yellow Jackets

Las Vegas, NM-  Black Hills traveled to Las Vegas Friday night ranked 3rd in the RMAC. Black Hills is also ranked first in defense and first in three point shooting percentage. The Cowgirls did a good job maintaining their scoring against the #1 ranked Hills defensively. What hurt the Cowgirls the worst was being outshot from deep and turnovers. The Cowgirls had 17 turnovers compared to the Yellow Jackets 9 turnovers. The Yellow Jackets hit 9 threes compared to highlands connecting with 5. Kendall Parker had a good game by scoring 15 points. Juliana Aragon came alive late to cash in 13 points.
