Las Vegas, New Mexico - The New Mexico Highlands women's basketball team returns to action on Tuesday afternoon as they play host to West Texas A&M. Tip-off in the Wilson Complex is set for 3:00 pm.
The Cowgirls enter Tuesday's game with a record of 1-2 having defeated Northern New Mexico 62-52 in their last outing. West Texas A&M is 2-3, they dropped a 81-78 decision to the Colorado School of Mines on Saturday. This is the first meeting between the two teams since the 2018-19 season, the Lady Buffs, members of the Lone Star Conference, lead the all-time series 10-0.
Through the first three games of the 2023-24 season, the Cowgirls are averaging 56.0 points per outing while allowing 55.7 per game. NMHU is out rebounding their opponents 42.3 to 38.3 per game.

Juliana Aragon is scoring 15 points per outing to pace the Cowgirls while senior
Delani Harris is in double figures at 10 points per game.
Aja Scott leads the way with 9.7 rebounds per game.
