Cowgirls Victorious on Friday Night

Las Vegas, NM- The NMHU Cowgirls played to their strengths Friday night. Relying on good physical defense and efficient play offensively played a role in the win. Jules Aragon was in her zone statistically and visibly. Aragon cashed in 26 points in the matchup however, the stat sheet doesn't show the plethora of momentum shifting dribbling moves she performed to create separation from her defender. Neysa Manguia made sure her presence was felt in the paint as she allowed no easy buckets as she piled on four blocks. Manguia seemingly altered any shot she was near. Manguia also led the team in rebounds with nine.
