Las Vegas, New Mexico - The New Mexico Highlands University women's soccer team is on the road for a pair of Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference matches this weekend. The road trip begins Friday evening with a 7:00 pm match in Durango against Fort Lewis. The Cowgirls will wrap-up the trip Sunday afternoon in Gunnison against Western Colorado at 1:00 pm.
Fort Lewis enters Friday's contest with an overall record of 4-0-3. The Skyhawks are 0-0-1 in RMAC having tied CSU-Pueblo 1-1 in the lone conference match played this season. Friday will be the 45th meeting all-time between the two schools with Fort Lewis holding a 34-5-5 lead in the previous matches.
Western Colorado is 0-6-2 overall and 0-2-0 in conference action. The Mountaineers dropped matches against UCCS and Adams State to kick-off their conference slate. The teams have played 10 previous matches with the series history standing at 5-5-0.
The Cowgirls enter play at 0-5-1 overall and 0-2-0 in RMAC play.
