Cowgirls At Black Hills State Friday

Las Vegas, New Mexico - The Cowgirls close out a stretch of three games away from home on Friday evening in South Dakota to play Black Hills State. Tip-off is set for 5:00 pm.

The Yellow Jackets enter play on Friday with an overall record of 9-5 and 6-4 in conference play. Senior Morgan Hammerbeck leads a balanced scoring attack averaging 9.4 points per outing. Black Hills State scores 62.0 points per game and allows 56.3 per game. BHSU beat the Cowgirls 63-46 last month in Las Vegas.

The Cowgirls have an overall record of 4-14 and 3-9 in the RMAC. Juliana Aragon leads the team in scoring at 11.9 points per game and assists with 3.2 per outing. Delani Harris leads NMHU in rebounding at 6.1 per game and Neysa Munguia leads the way with 14 blocks per game. The Cowgirls average 54.8 points per game while allowing 65.9 per game.

After Friday night's game the Cowgirls return home for games with UCCS and Regis next weekend.
