Las Vegas, New Mexico - The Cowgirls dropped a 3-0 decision to visiting Colorado Christian on Sunday afternoon. NMHU is now 2-11-2 overall and 0-8-1 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
The Cougars tallied a goal in the match's fifth minute to take the early lead Sunday. They would add a goal just before halftime and another midway through the second half to secure the final margin of victory.
Colorado Christian held a slight edge in shots at 7-5.

Acacia Rodriguez,
Emily Jimenez,
Karenza Chavez,
Izzie Scott, and
Jennifer Mueller were recognized prior to the start of Sunday's match.
The Cowgirls play their final road matches of 2024 next week as they celebrate Halloween in Colorado Springs at 6:00 pm against UCCS. Sunday they are at CSU-Pueblo for a 2:30 pm contest.
