Las Vegas, New Mexico - The Cowgirls are on the road to close out the 2023-24 campaign with games at Regis and UCCS.
On Friday NMHU will be in Denver for a 5:00 pm match-up with the Rangers who enter play at 21-5 overall and 16-4 in the RMAC. Josey Ryan is the leading scorer for Regis at 15.3 points per game. Morgan smith is the top rebounder at 7.3 per game. Regis won the season's earlier match-up 79-55 in Las Vegas.
Saturday NMHU heads south to close out the season with a 5:00 pm game at UCCS. The Mountain Lions are 19-7 overall and 16-4 in conference play. Maison White leads the way for UCCS with 12.8 points and 8.6 rebounds per contest. Saturday's game will be the 54th all-time meeting between NMHU and UCCS with the Mountain Lions holding a 27-26 edge in the series history.
The Cowgirls are 6-20 overall and 5-15 in the RMAC heading into play this weekend.
Juliana Aragon is the top scorer for NMHU averaging 12.2 points per game. She also leads with 3.1 assists per game.
Neysa Munguia averages 6.1 rebounds per game to lead the Cowgirls and she is fifth in the RMAC at 1.2 blocked shots per game.
