Las Vegas, New Mexico - The Regis Rangers defeated the Cowgirls 79-55 on Saturday evening in the Wilson Complex. With the loss, NMHU is now 4-17 overall and 3-12 in the RMAC. Regis improves to 17-4 overall and 12-3 in conference play.
The Cowgirls battled early on and held a lead mid-way through the first quarter.
Delani Harris converted a lay-up at the 4:19 mark to give NMHU a 6-5 lead. The Rangers outscored the Cowgirls 11-2 to close out the quarter and would not relinquish the lead en route to the win.

Vanessa Herrera led the Cowgirls with ten points on Saturday.
Aja Scott grabbed a game high nine rebounds.
Up next for the Cowgirls is a home date with Adams State on Friday at 5:00 pm.
