Las Vegas, New Mexico - The Cowgiles play their third consecutive game at home on Friday evening as they host Adams State at 5:00 pm. NMHU is 4-17 overall and 3-12 in the RMAC. The Grizzlies enter play Friday with an overall record of 15-7 and a conference record of 10-4.
The Grizzlies are led by Harmanie Dominguez who averages 17.7 points and 4.4 rebounds per game. As a team Adams State averages 74.9 points per game while allowing 68.3 per game. The Grizzlies have won six consecutive games over the Cowgirls dating back to the 2019-20 season.
Sophomore
Juliana Aragon leads NMHU in scoring at 11.4 points and 3.2 assists per game. Senior
Delani Harris averages 9.0 points and a team high 6.1 rebounds per game.
Neysa Munguia is fourth in the RMAC with 1.4 blocks per game. As a team New Mexico Highlands is holding the opposition to 38.8% shooting from the floor which is sixth best in the conference.
After Friday's game with the Grizzlies, NMHU is back on the road next weekend for games at Chadron State and Colorado Christian.
