Colorado Springs, Colorado - The Cowgirls closed out the 2023-24 season with a 71-57 loss at UCCS on Saturday evening . NMHU finishes with a record of 6-22 overall and 5-17 in the RMAC.
Senior
Delani Harris, playing her final game as a Cowgirl, led the way with 17 points on Saturday. Also in double figures was
Amaris Valadez who scored 11 points and grabbed four rebounds.
UCCS jumped out to an early lead in the opening quarter of play and the Cowgirls didn't get on track after falling behind. NMHU shot 35% from the floor and 90% from the free throw line. UCCS won the battle of the boards 42-17.
