Las Vegas, New Mexico - The Cowgirls are home for games with Westminster and Colorado Mesa this week. The Cowgirls are 12-10 overall and 9-7 in the RMAC after splitting games with Westminster and Colorado Mesa last week.
THE FEARING FILE:
Lindsey Fearing is in her first year leading the Cowgirls having been named Head Coach on May 3rd, 2024. The Black Hills State graduate picked up her first career win on November 9th when NMHU beat Western New Mexico 80-60. She recorded her first RMAC win on December 7th as the Cowgirls topped Colorado School of Mines 74-73 in overtime.

Eva Ongoongotau will be honored before tip-off.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING: Junior
Juliana Aragon is ninth in the RMAC in scoring at 16.6 points per game, third in assists with 4.4 per game, and tenth with 2.0 steals per game. She is seventh in the conference in field goal percentage at 44.4% and second in free throw percentage at 85.7%. Aragon's Assist/Turnover ratio of 1.4 is tied for sixth best in the RMAC.
Freshman
Kapiolani Anitielu is eighth in the conference in scoring at 16.7 points per game, fifth in three pointers made per game at 2.0, and fourth with a three-point field goal percentage of 32.1%. She is also fourth in blocked shots (1.1 per game) and sixth in steals (2.1 per game).
As a team, the Cowgirls are third in the RMAC in scoring at 70.5 points per game and second in the conference with a 42.9% field goal percentage.
SCOUTING THE OPPOSITION: Colorado Christian enters play at 8-16 overall and 6-10 in conference play. Nicole Bowlin leads the Cougars in scoring at 13.2 points per game. CCU's leading rebounder is Dasiya Jones at 9.9 per game. Carissa Ratiff is in her first year as the head coach at Colorado Christian. Thursday's game is the only meeting of the 2024-25 season between the two teams. The Cougars hold a 6-4 edge in the last ten games of the series.
UCCS enters play this week at 14-9 overall and in a three-way tie at 10-6 in the RMAC pending the outcome of Thursday's game at Adams State. Amyah Moore Allen is the Mountain Lions leading scorer at 18.6 points per game Maison White is the leading rebounder for UCCS at 10.7 points per game. Misty Allen is in her second season at the helm of the UCCS program where she has a record of 37-17. The Mountain Lions topped the Cowgirls 77-65 on January 23rd in Colorado Springs.
