Las Vegas, New Mexico - New Mexico Highlands University announced its 2026 football schedule on Tuesday, featuring five home games and six road games.
The Cowboys open the season in historic Las Vegas on Thursday, August 27, hosting Eastern New Mexico at 6:00 pm. One week later, New Mexico Highlands travels to Western New Mexico for the 2026 edition of the La Batalla Bowl, scheduled for a 6:00 pm. Kickoff.
2025 marked the first time since 2012 that New Mexico Highlands defeated both Eastern New Mexico and Western New Mexico in the same season.
Homecoming is set for October 3 at 6:00 pm against Western Colorado, while Senior Day presented by Quality Care will take place on November 7 when the Cowboys host Adams State.
Season tickets and tailgating passes will go on sale later this summer.
