Cowgirls Fall to Regis

Box Score Denver, CO- The Cowgirls wrapped the opening weekend of conference in Denver facing off with the Rangers of Regis.
 
The first half of the match Cowgirls were outshot by the Rangers in the first half 18-8 . Peyton Greener was able to have five saves in the first half.
 
However, the Rangers scored four goals in the first half. Including an own goal on an attempt to cross that deflected off a Cowgirl defender and went in to give them the 4-0 lead at the end of the first half. The Rangers continued to pile it on with a seventh goal of the day.
 
Tammia Thorpe scored her first goal in a Cowgirls uniform in the 67 minute of the game to give the Cowgirls their first goal of the game.
 
The Rangers, however, had too large of a lead for the Cowgirls to come back from and would drop their final match of the opening weekend of conference play.
 
UP NEXT: The Cowgirls play their first conference game at home next weekend against MSU-Denver in Historic Las Vegas on Thursday.
