FRESHMAN (2018): Played in all 16 games, including nine starts, for the Cowgirls ... Was second on the team in points as she finished with seven (three goals, one assist) ... Scored her first career goal against St. Mary's and also scored a goal apiece against Regis and Black Hills State ... Took 18 shots on the season, including 13 on goal (tied for second on the team) ... Played 890 minutes.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a three-year captain for Atwater High School (Atwater, Calif.) and coach Juan Perez … Was named team MVP her junior season and the top forward on the team her freshman, sophomore and senior season. 
 
PERSONAL: The daughter of Lorena and Antonio Rodriguez … Has four siblings … Majoring in child development … Chose NMHU because: “The coaches were very outgoing and the school looked very calm. They gave me an opportunity to get my education while continuing to play my favorite sport.”

There is going to be obstacle courses coming your way, and take it even though you cannot get through them the first time, you will get passed them.
