Ben Langford joined the New Mexico Highlands football staff in July of 2024. Prior to coming to Las Vegas, he was the Special teams Coordinator for the Fehérvár Enthroners of the European League of Football.
Langford served in the United States Army from 2019-2023 where he was stationed at Fort Bragg in North Carolina. During his time in the armed forces, he served in Poland as an Airdrop specialist.
Prior to that, he served as a graduate assistant for two years (2016-2017) and as a full-time coach (2018-2019) for a season for the Eastern New Mexico football program. With the Greyhounds, he oversaw the linebackers, running backs, and wide receivers. He helped the staff execute game plans and organize various clinics and camps. On top of his coaching duties, he pursued a masters degree in sports management.
Langford played collegiately for ENMU where he was a two-time second team All-Lone Star Conference honoree and was named a preseason All-American in 2014. A native of Ottoville, American Samoa, Langford was named the MVP of the 2012 World Bowl and spent two seasons at New Mexico Military Institute before moving to ENMU.
He earned a bachelor's degree in health and physical education from Eastern New Mexico in 2015 and finished the master's program in 2018.
