Dillon Sharp joins the New Mexico Highlands staff as the Assistant Defensive Backs Coach. Previously he was a Defensive Student Assistant Coach at Liberty University working with the Defensive Backs. While at Liberty University he helped lead the Flames to their first ever bowl win and sent 4 defensive players to the NFL.

Prior to Liberty, Coach Sharp was a Assistant Coach at Shiloh Christian High School in Arkansas.  He coached Quarterbacks, Wide Receivers, and Cornerbacks.

Coach Sharp is a graduate of Pittsburg State University where he played Quarterback and is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

He is from Dallas, Texas.
