Matt Clark enters his second season as offensive coordinator and wide receiver coach for the New Mexico Highlands football team.
In his first season, he helped guide the Cowboy offense average 29.3 points and 407.1 yards per game.
Clark comes to NMHU from Hutchinson Community College where he was the Dragons’ run game coordinator and offensive line coach the last two seasons. Under Clark, Hutchinson led the KJCCC in rushing in 2016 and developed five all-conference players and one All-American.

Prior to Hutchinson, Clark was the tight ends coach at University of Louisiana at Monroe during the 2015 season and spent 2012-15 at Nicholls State where he served in various coaching roles – including offensive line and tight ends coach as well as recruiting and academic coordinator.

Before heading to Nicholls State, Clark was an offensive graduate assistant at ULM from 2009-11 where he helped out with the offensive line, quarterbacks and wide receivers during his tenure.

Clark played at Air Force for a season (2004-05) before transferring and playing his final three seasons at Western Washington (2005-08).
