Pat Rodriguez

Entering his third season in his second stint with New Mexico Highlands, Pat Rodriguez was promoted to the defensive backs coach for the 2014 season.
 
A cornerback for the Cowboys from 2001-2005, Rodriguez was the director of operations, recruiting coordinator and running back coach at New Mexico Highlands from 2007-09. Following two seasons away from the program, Rodriguez could not resist the allure of Las Vegas, New Mexico as he rejoined the Highland coaching staff as a defensive assistant in 2012.
 
Following his graduation from New Mexico Highlands, Rodriguez stayed in town to be the running backs and defensive backs at Robertson HS. During his tenure, the Cardinals won two New Mexico State Championships. Following his first three years coaching with the Cowboys, Rodriguez spent two seasons at the head football coach at Pojoaque Valley HS.
 
Rodriguez resides in Las Vegas with wife, Diana, and children Elizabeth, Patrick and Katharine.
