JUNIOR (2017): Alston led the Cowboys in carries last season (102) while he was second on the team in rushing yards (592), yards per carry (5.8) and rushing touchdowns (6) … He broke the 100-yard mark twice on the ground, including 135 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries against Texas Wesleyan (Sept. 16) … Also had 110 yards and touchdown on 19 carries against Dixie State (Aug. 31).

FRESHMAN & SOPHOMORE (2015-16): As a sophomore, rushed for 191 yards and a touchdown while catching 13 passes for 80 yards … Also returned a team-high kickoffs and averaged 18.3 yards per return … As a freshman (2015) broke UAlbany’s single-season record for kickoff returns, accruing 37 returns for a total 821 yards … Led the Great Danes with 881 all-purpose yards, averaging 80.1 yards per game … Ran a 96-yard kickoff return back for a touchdown at Richmond (Oct. 31), recording a season-high 179 yards on five returns … Had a 75-yard return versus New Hampshire (Nov. 14), accruing 123 kickoff return yards on four returns … Totaled 52 rushing yards, carrying the ball 18 times … Had a season-high eight carries for a total of 30 yards versus Villanova (Oct. 17).

HIGH SCHOOL: Two-year captain of the Salem High School football team … Totaled 3,677 rushing yards, 42 rushing touchdowns, six touchdown receptions, and four kickoff return touchdowns in his career … As a senior, he posted 1,201 rushing yards, 12 rushing touchdowns, 353 receiving yards, two receiving touchdowns and ran back two punts and a kickoff for scores … Three-time all-conference selection and was named All-South Jersey as a junior and senior … Named first-team all-state in 2014 and to the third team in 2013 … Member of the U-18 USA National Football squad … Two-year team MVP and receiver of the squad’s Impact Player Award, Coaches Award, and Captain’s Award.
