Before NMHU:  Comes to NMHU after one season at New Mexico State...Played two seasons at NMMI earning 1st Team All-Conference SWJCAC honors...2024 Salutatorian NMMI...2020 graduate of Taos High School where he played football for Coach Art Abreu Jr...Taos County Male Athlete of the Year 2020, All-District QB, All-District DE,  All-District baseball,  All-District Basketball...Helped Taos to 2018 4A State Football Champion.

Personal: Parents are Santiago Armijo Jr. and Laura Garrett...Brother of Santiago, Angelina, and Christian.
