Cesar Alviso is the New Mexico Highlands cross country assistant coach.

Alviso is a NMHU alum who came to Las Vegas in 2008 after running two years at Long Beach City College. A Paramount, California, native (and Paramount High School grad), Alviso followed his career at NMHU by working in the Las Vegas District Attorney's Office. He's married to NMHU alum Reyna Montano (who still holds the NMHU track record in the 10,000 - and the couple are both working on completing their master's degree at NMHU.
