Bianca Contreras-Edwards

Bianca Contreras-Edwards will be entering her 5th season as head coach of the NMHU women's soccer program in 2023. Coach Contreras-Edwards also spent four seasons as an assistant coach (one as a grad assistant, the previous three as assistant coach).

Contreras-Edwards played for the Cowgirls in 2011, appearing in six games. Before coming to Highlands, she played junior college soccer at San Bernardino Valley College and was a member of the 2010 Foothill Conference Championship team and CCCAA state championship team. In goal, she helped contribute to the first ever CCCAA state championship in the history of the program. In that same year, San Bernardino Valley College won its third consecutive Foothill Conference title finishing the season with a 20-1-4 mark and was ranked second in the nation for community college soccer by the NSCAA.

Contreras has both her bachelor's (health) and master's degree (human performance and sport) from NMHU.)
