Brooke Niimi begins her first season as the student manager for the NMHU women's soccer program.

Niimi played for the Cowgirls from 2016-18, including playing in all 16 and starting 14 during the 2018 season. She played the fifth-most minutes on the team with 1,061.

Prior to NMHU, Niimi was a four-year varsity letterman at Highland High School (Gilbert, Ariz.) for coaches Jon Berzins and Andy Barber. During her time, she helped her team win the Arizona Division 1 State Championship in the 2014-2015 season along with making all-section her junior year. Niimi was named captain senior year and defensive MVP. She was also recognized to the all-section and all-division teams. She made the best 11 players of the Arizona Soccer Showcase her senior year. During her club seasons, Niimi helped her team to win the 2013 Arizona State Championship and make it to the 2013 regional quarterfinals with the AZ Arsenal 97 Premier Girls. She won the 2015 and 2016 Arizona State Championships and made it to the 2015 regional semis with the AZ Arsenal 98 Premier Girls Teal. Niimi was also selected to the Olympic Development Program in 2015.

Niimi graduated in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in Preprofessional Health and Psychology.
