Zinnia Hannig begins her first season as a graduate assistant coach for the NMHU women's soccer program.
Hannig played for the Cowgirls from 2016-17 where she scored three goals and added an assist for NMHU - playing primarily center mid. Prior to NMHU, Hannig played at Division I University of Texas - Rio Grande Valley where she had three goals and two assists in two season.
Hannig is from El Paso, Texas, and graduated from Montwood High School where she helped lead the team to the final eight in the state tournament - the furthest the program has ever gone. She played club soccer for the El Paso Storm where they won the Texas State championship in 2014.Â
